IV [Norman Hewitt emailed me in November 2016 to tell me (1) that the Waterland was renamed Anastassios in 1971 and Tsimentavros II in 1977 (source - 'Coasters Remembered' at http://coasters-remembered.net/showthread.php?t=4424); and (2) that the Waterland was repaired at Smith's Dock, North Shields, on a number of occasions. The 'Coasters Remembered' website also says that the ship was broken up at Bakopoulos Shipyard in Eleusis, Greece, in 1986; and it has a number of photos of the ship. Jim Anderson emailed me in March 2017 with the following information: 1971 "Anastassios"; owners Rigas Brothers, D. Mitropoulos and S. Fasoulas, Piraeus, Greece; 1977 "Tsimentavros II"; owner General Cement Company S.A., Piraeus; 1979 same owner; 1986 broken up by Bakopoulos Shipyard, Eleusis, Greece.]
