Burntisland Shipyard - List of Ships

The following table contains links to scanned images of a complete list of the ships built at Burntisland Shipyard. The list was compiled in 1980 by the former confidential secretary at the shipyard.

The list contains the shipyard's ship numbers, and these run from 101 to 422 inclusive. But numbers 378 and 379 (re-numbered in a different series as 857 and 750) were built by the sister yard, Hall Russell of Aberdeen. Five of the ships are marked 'not built'. One (number 387) also appears not to have been built. Four other ships are marked 'cancelled'. It therefore looks as if the total number of ships built at the Burntisland yard was 310.
